A Dana man has been sentenced for an April of 2018 incident.
According to court documents, 67-year-old Michael Eberle received an adjudicated guilty conviction of a Class D Felony for control of a firearm by a felon. He had his five year prison sentence suspended and will be placed on probation for two years.
The charge stems from an executed search warrant of Eberle’s home in the 2300 block of 170th Street on April 27th. A firearm and ammunition were recovered in the search warrant that also involved the Boone County Sheriff’s office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Eberle was also ordered to pay court-appointed attorney fees not to exceed $600, but court records show he was found to be indigent and was then ordered to repay the state $0. He also had his fine and surcharges suspended.
