A Perry man was arrested early Saturday morning on a felony charge for OWI.

According to the Perry Police Department, 30-year-old Martin Vidal was arrested after a routine traffic stop at around 4 a.m. He was charged with third offense OWI, a class D felony, as well as possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine – an aggravated misdemeanor, and driving while license revoked, a simple misdemeanor. He was also cited for having an open alcohol container while driving. He was taken to the Dallas County Jail and is currently awaiting his initial appearance in court.
