A reminder that today is the rescheduled District Large Group Speech Contest day at Perry High School.

For some school districts, like Paton-Churdan, they couldn’t attend today’s competition, so they hired an individual to judge their three groups. As for Greene County High School, they had two groups perform along with P-C and today they will have the rest compete. The four groups from Greene County that are performing today include: one-act play, radio news and two group improv teams. They already have two groups moving onto state with choral reading and reader’s theater. P-C has one group that is advancing onto state with musical theater.

The public is encouraged to attend today’s competition and watch the different performances. Admission is $3 per person.
