Weather permitting, the Panorama Panthers varsity basketball teams will resume their West Central Activities Conference schedule this evening at home. The Earlham Cardinals basketball squads make the trek to Panora for their first and only league contest this winter. The Panorama Panthers varsity basketball teams were last on the court Monday in Panora, taking two games against nonconference foe Nodaway Valley. Senior Bailey Beckman poured in a game-best 28 points as the No. 8 Panorama girls basketball team topped Nodaway Valley, 68-42. Senior Gracen Welburg dropped 21 points in the nightcap as the Panorama boys basketball team earned a 64-49 win over the Wolverines.

Both Earlham basketball squads bring recent winning streaks into the matchup with Panorama. The Lady Cardinals have won their previous three games, posting a 10-6 overall record. The Earlham boys basketball team won their last four contests, registering an 11-4 overall record. Tonight’s West Central Activities Conference varsity doubleheader between the Panorama Panthers and the Earlham Cardinals starts with the varsity girls game at 6 p.m., and the boys’ contest will follow from Panorama High School in Panora.
