Arctic temperatures played a factor in the cancellation of last night’s final dual event for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team. The Tigers intended on visiting Van Meter High School for a nonconference triangular event against the PCM Mustangs and the combined program of Van Meter/Earlham. Officials at Van Meter High School canceled the event as wind chill values all across the region were well below zero for much of the day. The ADM Tiger wrestlers are hoping for favorable weather this weekend when they’re expected to travel to Bondurant-Farrar High School for the annual Raccoon River Conference wrestling tournament. First matches are to start at 10 a.m. tomorrow from Bondurant.
