Kuemper Catholic was a 61-30 non-conference girls’ basketball winner in Carroll over Greene County on Monday night to send the Rams to their fourteenth loss this season without a win. Greene County teams have dropped 22 straight dating back to last season. The Knights improved to 8-9.

Maci Overmohle sank six three-point goals for a game-high 18 points. Brooklyn Bakke added 12 points and Kayla Venner scored 10 for the Knights. The Rams were led in scoring by Brianna Habben and Izzy Bravard each scored eight points with seven from Bailey Cunningham.

The 30 points scored are a season high for the Rams. They made 10 of 44 shots from the floor including two of 15 from three-point range. The Rams were eight of 10 shooting free throws and they turned the ball over 27 times.

Kuemper had 11 turnovers to go with 21 of 45 shooting from the floor. The Knights were nine of 24 from beyond the arc and 10 of 16 shooting free throws.
