Friday, January 18th

4:00pm: Staff at Subway (100 North Elm Street) spoke with an officer about unwanted vehicles parked in their parking lot.

4:48pm: An officer responded to 307 Edgewood Road for an abandoned 911 call. Everything was found to be okay.

5:36pm: An officer assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate a vehicle that had left the Casey’s gas station in Grand Junction. The driver of the vehicle did not pay for his / her fuel.

6:55pm: An officer responded to 211 East Wilcox Way for a domestic disturbance.

Saturday, January 19th

11:50am: Officers responded to the intersection of West South Street and South Oak Street for a 2-vehicle traffic accident. Brian Tiffany was traveling northbound on South Oak Street from the posted stop sign at the intersection of West South Street. Brian did not yield to a 2014 Ford F-150 that was traveling eastbound on West South Street and struck the passenger side of the pickup, causing $3,000 to the front end of his Grand Marquis. The F-150 was driven by Scott Weber and it sustained $5,000 in damages. Brian Tiffany of Jefferson was issued a citation for Fail to Obey Stop Sign.

2:54pm: As a result of a traffic stop, Mitchell Thurman of Carroll was issued a citation for Excessive Speed.

3:02pm: Simeon Lang requested a welfare check on a dog at the intersection of North Locust Street and East Washington Street.

3:16pm: Officers responded to 104 West Wilcox Way for a verbal altercation between a husband and a wife.

4:00pm: JB Hinote spoke with an officer about a civil issue.

Sunday, January 20th

12:12am: An officer responded to 607 North Olive Street for a vehicle that was running for most of the day. An officer responded and spoke with the owner who had forgot to turn it off.

8:33am: An officer responded to Hy-Vee to take a Theft report. Staff at Hy-Vee reported that (2) bottles of Captain Morgan was stolen from the store the night prior (01.19.2019 at 2140 hours). Two young males walked into the store. One of the males removed the two bottles and they proceeded to leave the building without paying for them. After investigating the crime and obtaining surveillance video, the suspects were identified as Austin Easterlie (18) of Bagley and Royzell Henderson (18) of Jefferson. Arrest Warrants have been requesting for the Following: Henderson – Theft – 5th Degree, Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Alcohol Under legal Age Easterlie – Theft – 5th Degree, Aiding and Abetting, Simple Misdemeanor

8:42am: Alan Krueger reported someone had struck a tree in his yard at 502 North Maple Street. The tree had minimal damages.

12:32pm: Tim Trondson requested a welfare check on a female at 304 East Monroe Street. Everything was found to be okay.

Monday, January 21st

1:28am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 300 Block of East Vest Street for, “Parking Across Sidewalk.”

3:22pm: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical call in the 400 Block of North Chestnut Street.

4:44pm: Toni Michaelson requested a Welfare Check on a male in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street. The officer found the subject sleeping and fine.

5:52pm: An officer covered a Two Vehicle Property Damage Accident at South West and West Monroe Streets. A 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, owned and operated by Faith Wiederin of Jefferson was travelling east on Monroe and was struck in the intersection by a southbound vehicle on South West. The 2002 Chevrolet S-10 was owned and operated by Donald Ott of Jefferson. Each vehicle had a reported $10,000.00 in damages. Ott was cited for, “Fail to Yield to Vehicle on Right.”
