The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval to hire an officer for the police department and to pay Captain Heath Enns additional pay as an interim patrol officer. The Council will also consider approving to apply for Transportation Enhancement Funds and several hotel/motel grant applications. Additionally, the Council is expected to set a public hearing date to adopt the 2020 fiscal year budget, hear a quarterly financial update and hear a presentation on the corridor management plan of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
