One statewide publication is showing the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team some love in their recent rankings update. The Predicament, covering wrestling in Iowa since 1970, released their latest rankings for all three classes last Thursday. For the first time this winter, ADM finds their name in the Class 2A State Tourney team rankings, entering the list as the No. 7 squad. ADM has three individuals rank among the top 10 in their respective weight class. Senior Andrew Flora continues as the site’s top-ranked wrestler at 126 pounds, amassing 30 straight wins to begin his final youth wrestling campaign. Senior Nolan Harsh made a big leap in the latest top 10 poll at 182 pounds, moving up five spots to No. 2. Harsh also enters the week undefeated in 30 matches this winter. Junior Kaden Sutton is the last ADM wrestler ranked the Predicament’s top 10 poll, dropping one spot to No. 7 at 220 pounds. Sutton’s won 28 of his 32 matches he’s competed in this season. The ADM varsity wrestling team resumes their dual season Thursday night in a road nonconference triangular versus Van Meter/Earlham and PCM. First match starts around 6 p.m. from Van Meter High School.
