Wednesday, January 16th
12:49am: An officer checked on an Unlocked Storage Unit at 1503 North Elm. All was fine with the empty unit.
4:49am: An officer assisted a motorist, who had run out of fuel on the overpass in the 600 Block of North Elm Street. The truck was removed a short time later.
7:01am: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of South Chestnut Street resulted in Avery Bardole of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:46am: An officer responded to a Residential Alarm Activation at 707 West Harrison Street. All was fine at the residence.
10:17am: Jamie Ostrander turned in a small box of items he located in the roadway near 1210 Milligan Circle.
11:05am: Dan Owens spoke to an officer about two suspicious males in the 500 Block of North Wilson Ave.
12:16pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver on 220th Street, heading east towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
1:53pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident at 101 Ram Drive. A 2012 Dodge Charger, owned by Kyle Kinne and operated by Kadrick Kinney of Jefferson, was backing from a parking spot and backed into a parked vehicle. The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze was owned by Shawn Angell of Grand Junction. The Kinne vehicle had a reported $1000.00 in damages, while the Angell vehicle had a reported $2000.00 in damages. No citation was issued, as the accident occurred on private property.
4:43pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 South Wilson Ave. The building was secure.
8:32pm: During a Traffic Stop at Elm and 220 th Streets an officer learned a female passenger had an outstanding Boone County Arrest Warrant. Brittany Ann Neal, 24 of Churdan was arrested for the, “Violation of a Court Order” Arrest Warrant.
10:51pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 500 Block of North Elm Street resulting in Lyndsey Watthen of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
