The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.
The meeting began with the Council approving the 2019 contract form for contractors to use for nuisance abatement. Nuisance Officer Wes Clark also shared his current list of city properties not up to code. Next, the Parks and Recreation Board presented an engineering contract with MSA Professional Services for a new bathhouse at the aquatic center. The Council directed the board to return at the next meeting with a cost estimate that totals no more than $600,000. Finally, the Council decided not to sell 103 Grand Street after the City recently tore down the house at that property.
