The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.
The Board will discuss the new high school and career academy plans during a work session at 5:15pm. No action will be taken by the Board during their work session.
The regular meeting will then begin at 6:30pm. Under old business, the Board will discuss and consider for approval school permits and changes to the soccer program. Under new business, the Board will consider for approval to let the new high school and career academy project out for bids and set a public hearing to then accept bids, an agreement for technology consulting services, appointing a representative to the Bell Tower Community Foundation, a resolution for an interfund loan and a fundraiser request. Additionally, the Board will discuss a farming project on the land the district owns near the new high school site with the Greene County FFA Chapter. The meeting will end in a closed session for the annual superintendent evaluation.
Both meetings will take place in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
