acgcThe ACGC basketball teams will continue their second half of West Central Activities Conference play when they welcome the Ogden Bulldogs to Guthrie Center tonight.

The last matchup on the girls side required an extra session to determine the victor. The gold and black trailed by eleven heading into the fourth quarter, but mustered up enough offense to close the gap, including an overtime sending three-pointer by sophomore Kylie Young. Junior Kennedy Young led all Chargers in the first meeting last month with 13 points and nine rebounds. The ACGC girls will be going for their third straight victory over the Bulldogs and their seventh conference win of the season.

The boys rematch will feature three of the top six total point scorers in the conference. Ogden senior Ben Heeren is well out in front for the scoring title, 62 points ahead of second best Braden Gibbons of Madrid. Classmate Kayden Kruse is sixth in the conference in scoring and third in made three-pointers. ACGC junior Bryce Littler is nearing 200 points on the season, sitting in fifth with 191. The Chargers are looking for redemption after a 53-81 blowout in Ogden last month.
