The Greene County Extension Council recently elected their new officers for 2019.

Bob Smith of Jefferson will serve as chair and Shari Minnihan of Churdan will serve as vice-chair. The other two officer positions include Jessi Riley of Rippey as secretary and Pam Olerich of Jefferson as treasurer. The extension council is the governing body of Greene County Extension. They hire county staff, manage the $320,000 county extension budget and determine programming throughout the year.

Other council members include: Doug Rieder, Tom Heater, Kyle Niles, Bruce Bahnson and Jill Rasmussen.
