12:30am: An officer located two Unsecured Storage Units at 408 E. Hwy. 30.

7:57am: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1200 Block of West Lincoln Way Street.

7:59am: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 600 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulting in Shawnene Kenan of Rippey being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

1:21pm: June Bower requested a Welfare Check on a male at 621 South Cedar Street. The officer made contact with the male, who advised he was fine.

2:00pm: An officer checked on an Alarm Activation at 1446 250 th Street. All was found to be fine at the property.

2:13pm: The Juvenile Court Officer requested assistance from an officer in gathering a Urine Analysis Collection Kit form a juvenile at the courthouse.

3:05pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street.

3:40pm: The Boone County Humane Society requested assistance from a Jefferson officer in locating a female in Jefferson. They had learned the female was selling sick puppies on-line. The officer checked the female’s last known Jefferson address and learned she moved to Boone three months ago. The information was passed back to the caller.

6:21pm: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of West Reed Street.

10:54pm: Jessica Johnston reported two dogs left unattended in a vehicle at 777 Wild Rose Lane. She was concerned the animals were too cold. The officer made contact with the animal’s owners inside and they elected to take the dogs home.
