The only varsity girls basketball player in the West Central Activities Conference with more than 100 rebounds entering 2019 is West Central Valley’s Sydney Neal. The Wildcat’s junior grabbed 112 boards in the first ten games of this winter. No one else in the league has more than 80 rebounds individually. Neal posted double-digit rebound totals in seven contests, grabbing a career-high 18 boards in a 41-34 loss to league foe Madrid on December 14. Neal topped the league last season with 185 rebounds. The West Central Valley varsity girls basketball team resumes their conference season this Friday in Panora against Class 2A No. 6 Panorama.
