The new year of competition keeps the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity wrestling team close to home over the next few weeks. Regular season dual action resumes tomorrow night at home for the Tigers as they host the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs in a nonconference event. The Tigers grapplers will spend the weekend at Mel Penrod Gymnasium, competing in the annual Gary Christensen Invitational hosted by Winterset Community Schools. The ADM wrestlers will have a full week off to prepare for their annual ADM Tiger Invitational on Saturday, January 12. ADM is also the host school for this year’s Class 2A District 1 tournament scheduled for Saturday, February 9. Tomorrow night’s dual against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs begins at 6:30 p.m. from ADM’s North Gym. The ADM Youth Wrestling programs will be recognized before the varsity dual.
