A week ago, the doors officially opened for Harvey’s at Hotel Pattee, bringing upscale comfort food to Perry diners and out of town guests.

Since opening, the public response was perhaps even greater than what restaurant owner Katie Harvey expected when she moved her operations from Redfield to the historic Perry hotel. “It’s been extraordinary! The community support that has come out this week is so appreciated. So (I) thank everybody for their patience while we have gone through bumps and bruises, and we’re really appreciative. It’s been overwhelming, the support that has happened this week, and I couldn’t be more excited for this!”

Harvey adds, starting this week they will have specials each day, as well as a burger of the week. They have also rolled out brunch menus for both Saturday and Sunday, which have already proven to be a big hit with the community. Some other things people can take advantage of with Harvey’s at Hotel Pattee is pairing dinners and catering services. Harvey reminds people to call the hotel front desk to set those up. She also emphasizes that it’s a good idea for people to make reservations if they want to dine on Fridays and Saturdays, as the walk-in wait is likely to be considerable.
