The Perry Public Library is wrapping up the year and holiday season with a pair of activities for kids and families this Friday.

On December 28th, starting at 10:15 a.m., the library is welcoming area children for a free showing of the movie “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.” The movie is rated PG and has a run time of 120 minutes. The event will be held in the large meeting room and snacks will be provided. While there is no cost to attend, the library reminds parents that they must accompany any children age 6 and under.

Later in the day, kids in grades Kindergarten through 5th are invited to a special event the library is calling “Santa’s Helper.” Participants will be challenged to come to Santa’s aid, as he has run out of toys. You will be given an assortment of recycled materials, and your task will be to create a new toy. “Santa’s Helper” is free to attend and no registration is required. It will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the large meeting room.
