Several Paton-Churdan National Honor Society students got into the holiday spirit with a special trip to Ames earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the students helped the Story County Salvation Army with their Toy Shop. They helped select, gather and transport presents for families. NHS Advisor Libby Towers said it was an excellent experience for the students to have and give back to a community in need.
