The Greene County Fair Association recently gave their annual report.

The Fair Association completed its fifth ag product auction this year for its building fundraising campaign. In five years, they’ve raised $460,000. With grants, pledges and private donations, the Fair Association has collected over $900,000. They have replaced four livestock buildings on the Greene County Fairgrounds including: the swine, sheep and goat, lead beef and pen beef. The final building the Fair Association is looking to replace in the future is the horse barn.

In preparation for the 2019 Greene County Fair, a new grandstand attraction has been added with the All Star Monster Truck Show slated for Thursday night of the fair. Side attractions that have been booked include the chainsaw artist and a new show called Nick’s Kids Show. There will also be the rodeo and tractor pull in the grandstand, along with fireworks.
