The shortest day of the year is this Friday, and residents are invited to celebrate it at Whiterock Conservancy.

Whiterock Conservancy, located near Coon Rapids, is hosting a Solstice Party at the log house from 4-7 p.m. Attendees are welcome to bring a chair and drinks to enjoy around a fire with s’mores. The event is free to attend and pre-registration is not required. This event is held to celebrate new beginnings, longer days, and the eventual coming of spring.
