The Perry Grand 3 Theater is wrapping up their “Merchant Movies” series this weekend, so it’s your last chance to see a free movie sponsored by members of the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
Each weekend since Thanksgiving, the theater has offered a different family movie to the public, and all people had to do for a ticket is stop into one of the participating businesses. The final movie for the year is holiday-themed, as the popular Will Ferrell film “Elf” will be played starting at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the “Merchant Movies” have been well attended each weekend, and adds that they’ve been effective ways for the Chamber membership to show appreciation for their customers and employees by giving them free entertainment.
