The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with the canvass of last week’s special election for the City of Woodward, as they chose a new mayor and City Council member. The Board will also have discussion and possible action regarding a request from the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce regarding their trail improvement project. Following that, there will be two items related to purchases for the Secondary Roads Department, the first being four tandem axle trucks and the second a tile line jetter.
The Board will then consider a project construction review and administration agreement for the Auditor’s Office parking lot replacement, followed by a resolution regarding a request from MidAmerican Energy to withdraw from an agricultural area. There will also be several appointments considered, including township clerks and trustees, the Board of Health, Conservation Board, and Board of Adjustment. Finally, there will be a possible closed session to discuss purchase of particular real estate, as well as an exempt session to conduct negotiations strategy.
The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
