The final year of high school wrestling for Adel-Desoto-Minburn seniors Andrew Flora and Nolan Harsh sees the duo continuing to stay undefeated on the mat. The Tiger grapplers spent Saturday at the North Polk Invitational. Both Flora (126) and Harsh (182) collected three wins on the day to push their overall records to 17-0. Flora, the Predicament’s No.1 ranked wrestler at 126, tallied a first-period pinfall, a major decision, and a 6-0 decision victory to claim the tournament’s top spot. Harsh’s day featured two pinfall victories and a 9-4 decision win. ADM junior Kaden Sutton also took first place in the 220-pound weight class, improving his season record to 16-1. Other ADM place winners include senior Charles Craigmile (170) and sophomore Justice Paulsen (195) in second place, and junior Brodrick Schmidt (152) in third. The ADM Tiger wrestling team closes their 2018 competition season Thursday at Boone High School in a quadrangular dual versus the Toreadors, the Perry Bluejays and the Woodward-Granger Hawks.
