acgcThe ACGC basketball teams will make the short drive to Stuart tonight for a West Central Activities Conference and Guthrie County Showdown against the West Central Valley Wildcats.

The Chargers are coming off tough losses to the Panorama Panthers on Friday night. After claiming victory in four of their first five games, the girls have dropped three straight to come into tonight’s contest at 500. The Charger girls have also lost three consecutive contests to the Wildcats, after being swept last season. The last time the two teams squared off, senior Genevieve Hoover hit a program best five three-pointers enroute to a career high 17 points in Stuart. The Wildcats have also dropped three straight, losing to Madrid 34-41 on Friday.

On the boys side, the Wildcats are one of less than ten teams in Class 2A still looking for their first victory. WCV is coming off a performance against the Madrid Tigers where they allowed 112 points. The Wildcats have lost by at least 20 points in each of their first six matchups. ACGC junior Bryce Littler will look to keep a double-digit scoring streak going. Littler has eclipsed the ten-point mark in four straight contests, averaging 15.5 per game.
