The conference season for the West Central Valley Wildcats varsity girls basketball team continued in Stuart Friday evening. The Wildcats welcomed the Madrid Tigers to town for a West Central Activities Conference matchup. West Central Valley head coach Drew Stonewall shared with Raccoon Valley Radio that the Wildcats were on the short end of a 41-34 result. Sophomore Sydney Neal topped West Central Valley with 17 points scored. The loss is the third league setback in a row for the Wildcats, dropping their overall record to 2-5. The Wildcats resume their West Central Activities Conference season in Stuart Monday against the AC/GC Chargers.
