Backwards Boutique in downtown Perry is now a month old, and they celebrated that milestone Friday morning alongside the public and the Chamber of Commerce by hosting the final Chamber Coffee of 2018.

The event started with a social time, and attendees helped themselves to a variety of drinks and snacks provided by the clothing store’s owners Emily and Dan Leslie. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti then gathered everyone in a circle and gave the floor to Emily, who discussed the boutique’s successes over the last four weeks. After that, the group went around the circle and introduced themselves, some discussing upcoming events or promotions at their respective businesses. The event concluded with Pasutti giving some updates on several Chamber events, including the 2019 Bike Ride to Rippey, or BRR Ride.

The Perry Chamber hosts the Chamber Coffees on the second Friday morning of every month. The next event will be held on January 11th at the DMACC VanKirk Career Academy. Pasutti feels the gatherings are an ideal way for the members and public to network and learn about what’s going on in the community.
