The dual season for the Panorama Panthers varsity wrestling team kept the squad close to home last night. The Panthers make the short drive to Guthrie Center Thursday for a quadrangular event versus AC/GC, Ogden, and Southeast Valley. Panorama returned home with one dual victory. The Panthers scored on four pinfalls and three wins by forfeit for a 42-30 win over the Ogden Bulldogs. Panorama gave up 30 points in forfeits in a 48-33 dual setback versus Southeast Valley and forfeited 24 points to AC/GC in a 46-28 loss. Two Panorama wrestlers finished the night with a perfect individual record. Senior Noah Kirtley (152) registered two pinfall victories and one win by forfeit. Sophomore Wyatt Appleseth (145) recorded one pinfall, one major decision, and one win by forfeit. The Panorama Panthers wrestling team will spend part of tomorrow at Ogden Community Schools competing in the annual West Central Activities Conference tournament.
