A former University of Iowa football icon will be back in Jefferson tomorrow.

Chuck Long will be at Wild Rose Casino and Resort on his book tour promoting his newly released biography “Destined for Greatness.” It is written by Aaron Putze, and it talks about Long’s career from his childhood growing up in Wheaton, Illinois to his college playing days as a Hawkeye and later in the NFL. Doors open at 6:30pm, with the presentation to begin at 7. A book signing and photographs will follow.

Paperback copies of the book are $20 and hardback copies are $30 and both will be available for purchase at the event. The event will take place at Coaches Corner.
