The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening in regular session for the final time of 2018.
The meeting will start with several reports, starting with one from teachers who recently attended a national Talented and Gifted (TAG) conference in Minneapolis. That will be followed by a report on the Iowa Association of School Boards annual convention, which was attended by two Board members and Superintendent Clark Wicks. The last report will be on the five-year facilities plan.
In general business, the Board will consider approval of a fundraiser for the middle school Technology Student Association (TSA) program. The group requests to prepare and sell meals at upcoming basketball games, with proceeds going towards supplies needed for future contests. The Board will then consider revisions to school policies, early graduation requests, and personnel changes. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the high school’s Brady Library.
