The Community Players of Greene County return with a spring production of “Death by Dessert.”

The murder mystery by Nathan Hartwick is about two competing Italian restaurants that share a common wall. The show opens with the building owner dying and the rest of the show is about trying to figure out who killed the owner and why. The play is done in the style of a dessert supper.

The Players are holding open auditions this weekend. Auditions will take place at Greene County High School this Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 1pm in Darren Jackson’s classroom. Interested individuals must use the west side door of the high school for ease of access. The Players are looking for 13 to 16 people for both male and female roles. Individuals who want to be backstage crew can also participate.

Anyone with questions can email the Players at cpgcia@gmail.com.
