The Adel Public Library has a few holiday-themed celebrations coming up, starting with a chance for kids to get their dance on.
The last early out of 2018 for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn schools is this coming Wednesday, and to celebrate the library is hosting a holiday dance party. Kids of any age are invited to join the fun in the community room starting at 2 p.m. However, any older kids who don’t feel like dancing can also head to the “Bored Room” to make faux stained glass at the same time. There is no cost to attend the celebration, and registration is not required.
Also starting Wednesday, the public can avoid some holiday stress with the help of the Friends of the Adel Public Library. Library staff and Friends members will be on hand to gift wrap any presents in exchange for a free-will donation. The gift wrapping will be available between December 12th and 20th during normal library hours.
