ACCESS Assault Care Center recently gave their annual report to the Greene County Supervisors for their previous fiscal year.
Director Tess Cody said ACCESS helped 60 Greene County survivors of domestic and sexual assault and provided 269 volunteer hours of direct care. She talked about one newer program called “Rapid Re-Housing” which is for survivors needing financial assistance to keep them in their current home. It is not to be used as “emergency shelter” for survivors.
Cody noted that they are in need of a volunteer from Greene County to serve on their Board of Directors. Interested individuals can contact their main office at 515-292-0500.
