There are some upcoming winter concerts for the Greene County School District.

The 36th Annual Holiday Dessert Concert for the high school music department will be on Monday, December 10th. The fundraiser will take place in the middle school gym in Jefferson at 7:30pm and the doors will open at 6:45. It will feature the treble and concert choirs, along with the concert band. Plus, there will be small groups traveling around performing prior to the concert. The cost to attend is $5 per person with a variety of desserts and refreshments will be served. Tickets are available at the high school office, from any high school music student or at the door.

Another performance will happen the following night on Tuesday, December 11th. The “Carol with the Kids: A Night of Performance and Song” will also take place at the middle school gym. It will feature the kindergarten and first grade classes as they sing holiday-themed music. The audience is encouraged to participate and sing with the kids. The show begins at 6:30pm and it is free and open to the public.
