Wrestlers at Panorama Community Schools spent part of their Saturday competing in the Treynor Invitational. Panorama had 10 wrestlers placed sixth or better in the tournament as the Panthers finished third overall in the final team standings with 164 points. Five Panorama grapplers competed in the title match with Garrett Fox (170) being the lone champion with a second period pinfall victory over Treynor’s Logan Young (1:55). Logan Christe (113), Wyatt Appleseth (145), Noah Kirtley (160), and Hunter Holmes (285) all represented Panorama in their respective title matches, closing their first tournament of the season in second place. The Panorama Panthers varsity wrestling team starts their West Central Activities Conference dual season Tuesday in Stuart, grappling against the Van Meter Bulldogs and the West Central Valley Wildcats.
