Those who can measure up to the challenge are invited to Menlo’s chili cook off and pie auction today.

Participants are invited to drop off their chili or pie from 3-5 p.m. at the Menlo Community Building. Residents can then sample the chili entries and bars for a freewill donation from 5:30-7 p.m. The pie auction will take place at 7 p.m. and all proceeds will go towards the Menlo Sesquicentennial activities. Sesquicentennial t-shirts and cookbooks will also be available for purchase.
