As this year’s harvest wraps up, area farmers, as well as the general public, are invited to attend a monthly series by Guthrie County Extension and Outreach.

Farmer’s Coffee will be held the first Friday of each month from December through March from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Extension office. Each Farmer’s Coffee will have a guest speaker from ISU Extension speak on a different topic. The first Farmer’s Coffee held this Friday will be on “Protecting Your Farm Property” with Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright and ISU Agriculture Engineering Specialist Shawn Shouse, and is sponsored by Guthrie County State Bank. Treats and refreshments will be provided. This event is free to attend and pre-registration is not required.
