Fog and icy road conditions resulted in an injury from a single vehicle crash in Guthrie County Friday morning.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, at about 6:50 a.m. 18-year-old Jacob Thomas Holwegner of Redfield was driving a Ford Ranger westbound on 280th Street when he was driving too fast for road conditions and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with P28, or Wagon Road. Holwegner’s vehicle then came to a stop in the ditch. No citations were issued and Holwegner was taken by private vehicle to the Guthrie County Hospital for possible injuries.
