Don’t forget: tonight and tomorrow you can view the fall play presented by the Perry High School Theater Department.

The selection for this year is “Robin Hood,” which will be performed on stage at the Performing Arts Center. Director Randy Peterson says he’s always wanted to produce an interpretation of the prince of thieves, but it took him awhile to find the perfect version to bring to Perry audiences. He believes he found the ideal take on “Robin Hood” with this particular play. “This one has a very large cast, which is one thing that’s good. We’ve got a lot of different student actors here at school, which is great (and) I love it so much! And then this play has a lot of action in it, a lot of fight scenes, which I thought was really interesting also. So it’s got a lot of interesting stuff in it.”

Peterson adds, this version of “Robin Hood” will be perfect for all ages. Tickets for the play are $5 each and can be purchased at the door, with all proceeds going towards future productions by the Perry Theater Department. The show will be performed today and tomorrow starting at 7 p.m. both nights.
