The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.

A work session will begin at 5:15pm. The Board will discuss various board committees. As a reminder during a work session, no action will be taken by the Board.

The regular meeting will then take place at 6:30pm. It will begin with a public hearing regarding the instructional support levy, with possible action following the hearing. Then under old business, the Board will hear an update on the Watch D.O.G.S. program. Other items the Board will consider for approval include fundraiser requests, the winter athletic officials list, a 2018-19 budget amendment, 2018-19 School Improvement Advisory Committee appointments and a School Budget Review Committee request for modified supplemental amounts.

Additionally, the Board will discuss a 2019-2020 physical education exemption waiver, 2019 soccer program, the demolition of the Grand Junction school building, the voluntary retirement policy and a heating and cooling system for the district’s server room.

Both meetings will take place in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
