Thursday, November 15th
4:33am: An officer was advised of a Business Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street, Suite 3. The officer made contact with employees arriving to work. All was fine.
7:15am: Simeon Lang advised of a vehicle parked at 708 North Cedar, that did not belong at the facility. The officer contacted the owner and the vehicle was removed.
7:54am: An officer assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of East Vest Street.
3:34pm: A Traffic Stop was performed at Olive and Russell Streets resulting in Jeanette Carhill of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Wear Safety Belt.”
4:43pm: Lauren Schulte requested an officer at 108 East Central #58 and advised her roommate had assaulted her. The officer arrived and met with a highly intoxicated Schulte and her female roommate. The officer learned that the two had argued most of the day and the roommate was packing her items to leave when Schulte entered her bedroom. During a verbal argument, both advised they had pushed each other. The officer transported the roommate and her belongings to the LEC to wait t be picked up by her father.
6:33pm: A female caller spoke to an officer by phone and made threats of harming herself. The officer went to 108 East Central Ave. #58 and spoke further with the caller. She continued to make threats of harming herself. The officer transported her to ER to be evaluated by a doctor. During that process, she became uncooperative with the doctor and very physical with the staff
and the officer. Schulte was placed in custody and taken to the jail. Lauren Marie Verle Schulte, 24 of Jefferson was charged with, “Disorderly Conduct – Simple and Interference with Official Acts – Simple.”
9:18pm: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 404 North Vine Street.
