You can fly, you can fly, or at least you can pretend to fly at Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School’s fall production of “Peter and the Starcatcher.”

This Tony-award winning play is based on a 2004 book that serves as a prequel to the story of Peter Pan and other beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie. This production is directed by Kelsey Moran and features musical accompaniment and sound effects from Debbie Menning, Mary Jane Carouthers, and Mike Moore. Freshman Tommy Bates is portraying the lead Peter and Senior Malena Rumelhart plays Molly Aster, the titular Starcatcher. Opening night is at 7 p.m. tonight with a following performance tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.
