The ACGC girls basketball team will play ten regular season contests before the winter break.
They begin the regular season at home a week from Monday against the Audubon Wheelers. The Chargers are 0-2 in the series, losing a nailbiter to open the season last year in Audubon, 52-50. The gold and black wrap up November on the 30th with a conference tilt in Guthrie Center against Madrid. The Chargers’ first win in program history came over the Tigers in 2016, but they haven’t been victorious against them since.
December’s slate begins with a Monday game at Grand View Christian on December 3rd. This will be the first meeting on the basketball court with the Thunder. The following night the gold and black will welcome Des Moines Christian to Guthrie Center before finishing out the week in Ogden. The following week sees another three-game lineup, with road trips to Earlham and Glidden-Ralston and a Friday night showdown with Panorama in Guthrie Center.
The final games of 2018 feature a Guthrie County showdown with West Central Valley in Stuart and a series opener against I-35 in Guthrie Center. The Chargers will also participate in a pre-season jamboree at Audubon on Thursday.
You can hear regular season games live on KKRF2 and RaccoonValleyRadio.com, including every conference matchup both home and away. We’ll look at the boys schedule breakdown tomorrow.
