Brace for laughs and intrigue when you check in to West Central Valley’s “Dead and Breakfast” this weekend.

The high school’s fall play is about an ace private eye named Nick Noir whose boat crashes onto a mysterious island while on his honeymoon. Him and his bride Selma end up at the Jolly Rodger Bed and Breakfast, where murder, hypnotism, and other hijinks ensue.

The play is directed by Nancy Bauch and performances take place tonight and tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Tickets are $6 at the door.
