Today is Election Day and a tradition continues for one non-profit in Jefferson highlighting the special day.

The Jefferson Does Drove #196 is hosting their Election Day Soup Luncheon event. For $6 they will be serving homemade soups, pies, rolls and drinks at the Jefferson Elks Lodge from 11am to 1:30pm. Carryouts will also be made available. All proceeds will go back to the Does as local donations to organizations and scholarships.
