Election Day is tomorrow, which means that it’s time for the annual Perry Chamber of Commerce Chili Feed.
This year the Chamber is partnering with the Perry Kiwanis Club to co-host the event, which Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti explains has two purposes. “It’s part encouragement to get out and vote, but then also (it’s) just a good community event to host as well. So regardless of your polling station, at the McCreary Center feel free to stop by from 11-7 and get some all-you-can-eat chili or potato soup. And then there will pie and things like that, too. So $7 for the ticket, all-you-can-eat, and then $2 for the pie by the slice!”
The McCreary Community Building is the polling location for residents in Perry’s 3rd Precinct, whereas the 1st and 2nd precinct locations are the Perry Public Library and Public Safety Building, respectively. Tickets for the Chili Feed can be purchased ahead of time at participating Chamber businesses or the Chamber office, or they can be bought at the door.
