When people normally think of seasonal reading programs at the Perry Public Library, their thoughts are likely on the popular summer session. However, the library reminds people they also have a Winter Reading Program which is now active.
There are programs for children, teens, and adults, just like in the summer, and each is free to take part in. Also like the summer, the library is offering reading incentives and grand prize drawings when the program wraps up later this winter. Additionally, you can sign up at any time, so even if you missed the pre-registration window, the opportunity to participate is still wide open. To sign up for the Perry Library’s Winter Reading Program or for more information, stop in or call the library at 515-465-3569. The librarians remind you: summer reading is fun, but winter reading is cool.
