The public is invited to November’s program of the Greene County Historical Society.

It will be held this Friday at the Scranton United Methodist Church. The focus of the program will be on “Greene County Politics Thru the Years: The Pendulum Always Swings.” The presenters will be Rick and Tom Morain. Rick is the retired editor and publisher of the Jefferson Bee and Herald and Rick is the former director of the Iowa Living History Farms and administrator of the State Historical Society of Iowa. The two will look back of local politics and how that’s shaped where we are today.
