Guthrie Center residents are asked to vote for their favorite downtown scarecrow for Main Street Guthrie Center’s 4th Annual BOO HOO Scarecrow Contest.

Businesses and civic organizations have put up their own unique scarecrows on display in downtown Guthrie Center, from Oscar the Grouch to the Incredible Hulk. Residents can vote for their favorite scarecrow on the Main Street Guthrie Center Facebook page or fill out a ballot at the participating businesses today and tomorrow. Cash prizes will be given to the first through third place winners, which will be announced tomorrow afternoon. Residents can check out all the hay-filled visitors during the downtown trick-or-treat from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday.
